Summer is nearing an end!

Ahh! I can’t believe it’s almost over! I took the boys to my parents house the other day and realized this just might be the last time we are over to swim before school starts!!

So, of course, I took some pictures 😉

Isn’t this cute!! We got this little float in our swag box from Sweet Suite! It would make a cute float for Barbie dolls! Ha.. if we had some that is… Bahaha

Zieke to small float ratio lol.. Don’t mind the boys in their underwear! We had just went swimming before that and then after they went inside to rest some they came out to “swing”.. yea… more like get wet all over again!

LOOK AT THIS FLOAT!! This also came in our swag box from Sweet Suite, it’s SO HUGE! It didn’t really fit in the pool that we have, but the boys had fun anyways!

Aww Skye.. She’s such a pretty dog!

Boys love her so much.. can’t wait until we buy our house.. We NEED a fenced in yard for her.

Can you believe she is ONLY 6 months old! She is very calm for a puppy though, well when the boys aren’t around that is!

Baby A LOVES water, not swimming so much but just playing in it.

This inflatable pool has been awesome this summer.. This thing blows up literally in mins and is super easy to take down and put back up.

We were actually in the process of taking it down, but it holds a lot of water and sprays out over the wading part and the slide.

We found a great deal on Kohl’s for it right before summer. I think we paid a little over $200 for it plus got $60 in Kohl’s cash back. It’s been the highlight of our Summer for sure. We would have used it more, but were we are at now it would be impossible to put up.

We just enjoyed some much needed water time!

Ah, this was my favorite part of course! My sister made me an iced coffee! YUM.. I live for coffee, I think most Moms do haha

Sick day = DIY Play-dough Day! School is starting soon!

I so hate it when my boys get sick. They are ALL THREE recovering from either a cold or really bad allergies. Not only are they miserable, but so is Mommy! They haven’t slept well for 4 nights now, so I feel like a Mombie! ha!

Trying to entertain 3 kids sick, isn’t easy. Especially when all you feel like doing is sleeping! (only if the boys felt that way too Ha) We can’t anywhere either, or out side for that matter, since its been raining her for a few day straight. So I decided to make some play-dough. We used to make this all the time, but haven’t in awhile so this was something fun to do again.

The boys usually help me measure and mix everything, then I cook it over the stove top.

We love this play-dough, it’s so warm and calming and it smells great too! This is definitely our favorite recipe.

What are your favorite things to do at home when it rains or when the kids are sick? Let me know in the comment section, I need MORE ideas, especially for Baby A for when the older too are back in school.Which brings me to the next subject…

SCHOOL.. more like ….KINDERGARTEN! Eek!

Zieke starts Kindergarten in 3 weeks.. and I am NOT ready for it. He will be gone from 8:30am – 3:30pm. Such a long time. Zieke and LJ started preschool last year but were only gone for 3.5 hours. So by the time I took them, came back, had lunch and Aaron took a nap, it was time to get them.

I have been debating about Homeschooling him, but just don’t know where or when we will be moving. Some of the schools in our area are ok, some.. not so much.

Our school system now a days are so out of wack. Not to mention, school shootings, peer pressure and the list goes on..

I told my Husband we will see how his first few weeks go and then revisit it then.

I mean, can I even do it? I guess for the first few years, but after that.. not so sure. Math was definitely NOT my strongest subject, BUT I feel I have accomplished a lot in life, and I was Homeschooled.

We were part of a Homeschool group were we had music, drama, art & gym. It was great! A lot of people seem to think Homeschoolers are odd, but really we aren’t! We were socialized just as much as any other public school attending kid. Just because we didn’t go somewhere everyday didn’t mean we weren’t social. We went to two groups per week, plus we were active in our church.

So, I dunno. Life is busy too.. I guess I will continue to think and pray, while trying to stay awake.. ha!

Thrift Store Finds! Disney Cars, Shopkins and Thomas and Friends!

We have had these for awhile and decided to get them all out for a fun video! We found these awhile back at our local Once Upon A Child.

I don’t think the metal box was supposed to come with it, but sometimes the store will pair things together. Surprisingly, everything was there for this shopkins Sweet Spot Food Fair set!

Here’s the back of the box. It’s an awesome way to display your shopkins! We have some and once we get organized (or shall I say IF ha) I plan to display them. The gumball machine is super cute and those balls are made of super thick plastic! I was surprised at that. I love the little lollipop stand and the candy bags, the cart is cute too and also added some storage space for a few Shopkins. We got this set for around $7 from what I can remember!

You can purchase this set online brand new for around $15. So, I thought for sure this would be more brand new, but still not a bad price for what we paid.

This Thomas is too cute! He was $3.50! You lay him on the floor and push the driver down and then he zooms!.. Reminds me of those older baby toys, but all three boys found it entertaining!

I couldnt find to many online – I found several on Ebay for over $20. I did find one for $10!

He was in really good condition too! It says 2004 on the bottom, so he was newer than I thought, not that 2004 is new haha, that’s still 14 years old!

This will make a super nice addition to our Thomas collection, (or shall I say my collection)!

This Disney Car set! Ahh.. super cute! I love the small cars. This was around $5 I believe. It’s collapsible and you can also store a few cars. It was a bit hard for the boys to turn but still a super cute set.

It’s from 2016 so still super new to me!

It came with several cars, not sure how many it actually is supposed to come with.

I looked this up and can’t find it!! Do any of you know? If so PLEASE let me know!

I think we are going to start doing this more! For around $15 we found some fun toys!

It seems like our new toys don’t ever get played with much after the initial excitement is gone from it being new. So buying second hand at a much lower price doesn’t seem as bad, even if they aren’t played with more than once!

Yes, I just said that..way to many toys, with more to come!

I find it so hard to film with 3 small boys, even though I SO love it and so do they. I am way behind in filming and need to get my schedule back in place.

I am totally embarrassed to show this, but this is real life.. and it’s messy. Looks kinda like a junk draw but more of a throw all place!

I keep saying I’m going to get it together, but with a very small space it’s so hard! Look at all of those boxes full of toys to review. Ugh and my broken iPad I tried to fix, but just made worse to were it won’t even power on now!

Ah.. and my train table. I have SO much stuff for my Thomas channel but no were to put it, so there is all is ha! I have a huge storage cubby shelf thing my sister gave me from Ikea that I will be using… well once we buy a house! I can’t fit anything else into our room right now!

So many other things I need to sort through! I have games that were sent to us several months ago that we still haven’t played!

I did have a filming schedule each week before we left for NYC, (this worked out great btw), but gee, it takes all day just to film a few videos! I was filming every Wednesday in-between working from home. My Niece would watch Baby A, which was awesome, and then I would film for our main channel with Zieke and LJ.

Every so often my Niece would watch all three or my Mom would watch the older two so I could film for my Thomas channel. I think one day I did 7 videos in one day! It was insane, but I was trying to get all caught up before our big trip.

Oh gee, this angle is even worse.. now I definitely do not want to post this! HA!

This is why we need an extra room or a basement when we move. I dream of having a studio/filming room!

I have at least 5 companies sending me items to review, one of which I have to post by August 5th, plus a few I already have received, plus the ones from Sweet Suite, PLUS all the other ones I have had for awhile! I am more stressed now after actually typing it all out! So, I guess I need to get busy!

17 POUNDS…. Of PURE HAPPINESS!

Ahh! We decided to open it up with All.. Three.. Boys….!! It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. We had some small fights and fits.

(We are trying to teach them about sharing, which btw, isn’t going so well!)

We had to open it outside because our house still isn’t all put together from being away so long! (In case you WERE wondering, I DID get all the laundry done, well cleaned at least, ..in huge pile in our utility room, Ha!)

Look at this squishy! Ah! We haven’t had one this big before and it’s SUPER squishy and slow rising!

We looked through everything but a lot I put back for future videos! I know, I know.. but that trip costed a pretty penny, so I need these for individual videos!

This Mic Guy looks so fun! It’s a 2 in 1 wireless microphone and bluetooth speaker! How fun is this going to be!

This! Ah! This is by Moose Toys and it looks so fun! You have to dig out your surprise collector toys!

I LOVE Squishies! This one was SUPER cute! Check out our video to see it!

Oh and SLIME! I’m not a fan of slime, because it’s super messy and the boys got it all over Skye when we first got her.. and yea.. I’ll stop there.. BUT they do love it. So we keep it in one area of the house now! This is Frozen Treats Slime and they have scents too! Ok, so this DOES have me intrigued!

I couldn’t get pictures fast enough! 3 sets of hand were everywhere!

Sweet Suite Toy Swag Box!

It’s here!! I’m super excited to get this opened!

I only had the boomerang clip of the box from Facebook! I could have went into my room to get a picture of it, but the boys follow me everywhere and didn’t want to start something now! Ha!

Did I mention we are actually Home “HOME” now! Ha! Long story, but our electric was out and it took over a week to get it back on.

I didn’t realize how much work was involved once the electric goes out! My fridge was covered in mold so I had to clean and then clean some more. I did some major speed cleaning last night when we got into our house around 6pm. But at least I was able to get my laundry (mostly) caught up. (I still think little elves leave dirty laundry when we are sleeping!).

SO everything is FINALLY getting sorted out to a more “Norm” life. We just now have to go get Skye (Our dog) from my Sister In Laws and then we will be all set… well until we find a house to buy.. then that’s another adventure waiting to unfold ha!

Sweet Suite Follow ups and Grandpa Joe’s Candy Buffet for $1!

It’s done! I was so afraid I wouldn’t follow up with this but I did! I have tons of contacts from the Sweet Suite and I followed up with everyone! YAY!

Look at all of these flyers!!

..and of of these BUSINESS CARDS! EEK! I handed out over 50 business cards! So strange to have business cards for YouTube channels, but my friend over at Tubey Toys said to get some made (which I got for free on Vista Print!) and I did!

I am already getting an overwhelming amount of responses, (just a few really, but still overwhelming as I don’t get many as it is) even a few that reached out before I did! I already have a few companies sending out products to review. So I am SUPER excited.

We also have our SWEET SUITE SWAG BOX that is supposed to be arriving TODAY! EEK! It’s 17 POUNDS! Now THAT will be a video to film! May not have all three boys open it though, it would end up like a pack of wolfs fighting for food!

It took about 30 mins to reach out to everyone, which wasnt bad at all. I was really stressing over nothing ha, but I am one that likes to get things done by a certain time.

During this time, I told the boys if they were good we would go to Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop. They had they $5 candy buffet boxes for only $1 today!

My nephew went with us, so the trip was even more special! It took about 30 mins to drive there, but it was still worth it! Even Mommy B took a break from her diet to grab a box!

Alright, got to go. We still haven’t been back to our house yet due to unfornuate event, but hopefully later today we will! Which means.. more work.. but hey, at least we will be home! Ha!

Home Sweet Home!

We made it home! (Well sorta, but that’s another story!)

We decided to split the trip home in half, which is what we SHOULD have done going to NYC, but we know now for future trips!

We stopped by a park on the way back, which was fun. The boys were to tired and antsy so I told them after each couple of hours, IF they were good they would get some surprises along the way.

….Needless to say, they only got one, ha!

These Cutie Fruities are super cute! They entertained them for at least 20 mins!

We even found some fun ice creams along the way! Sponge Bob was a hit!

We had about 30 mins until we got back to Eaton, Ohio, so we decided to stop by Dorthy Lane Market for a pick me up! We LOVE this place! My sister, (who is Paleo), was able to find some food here too, which was great, it’s hard to find Paleo foods while traveling and she was famished!

Baby A was sooo happy to see us and his super soaker was a hit! He looked like a little ghost buster!

So ya.. I’m so ready for life to get back to the “Norm”. I loved being able to take a break from normal life, but I SOO missed home, family, my hubby and my baby!

I have a ton of emails to send for follow ups from the fair, my work for the resume company to get caught up on and TONS of laundry to do.

If only I could get a laundry fairy.. HA!

Site seeing in NYC! Staten Ferry, Ice Cream on Wall Street and more!

We woke up.. extremely sore and tired the next day, so we stayed in until 1pm before we ventured out!

We started out catching a bus, which went smooth at first, until we missed it, then had to purchase another set of tickets, then we got on the bus waiting for the driver to scan our mobile tickets, only for him to look at us like we were crazy.. what did we do wrong? lol

The boys did like the bus ride though! LJ is taking it all in!

Ok, so after the bus, we ventured to the ..subway.. in which we took the subway in the wrong direction! (This is were I was slapping myself in the face Ha!)

Anyways.. it’s all good! We just ended up being near Staten Island so we took a Ferry! We had planned to take the Ferry at some point so it all worked out! We got some lunch ( more like dinner since it was around 4 when we actually got some food!) at Steve’s Pizza! Tiffany (my awesome sister that was a trooper and came with us!) stopped at a Paleo joint in NYC, which was totally awesome.. well.. because she IS Paleo and didn’t get eat much on this trip so far so this was great!

So, we walked a lot, and had to call an Uber a few times ha, but we did what we could! It was super fun and super stressful at the same time.

The Ferry was fun, I got some fun shots during it too! We saw the Statue of Liberty.. not as close as I had hoped, but hey the Ferry was free! So we will take it.. Ha! We took the Ferry to the Island and then back. Boys loved seeing all the boats and it felt safe too, the sides were really high, so made this mom feel safe! Ah.. and the fish. They had these huge tanks in the waiting area for the Ferry, and LJ was very taken with them. So much that him and Zieke took out their tablets and had a photo session!

Ah and the ice cream.. We had Milk Cereal ice cream on Wall Street! (The boys didn’t like, of course! So there went $20 bucks in the trash, no, like literally! We threw it all away!) I had a few bites, it definitely tasted like milk cereal, which was really strange but fun!

We also found a fun little park. They were able to fun around for a bit before heading back. We ended up, when all said and done, calling an Uber, we were going to walk to the bus station, but we ended up walking the wrong way, and by the time we found that out, the correct path would have taken us over 35 mins, PLUS we had to ride the bus back to our apartment still.. and it was after 9pm so yes.. an Uber it was! ( Uber’s are awesome BTW! We took a total of 4 when we were here)

All in all, it was a great experience, but I think next time (if there is one), we will stay in NYC and not in NJ as it was WAYYY to much walking, taking buses, Uber expenses and so on.

So, we are headed out soon. We might hit up a park before heading back home, but not sure yet. This trip has definitely gotten the best of me!

NYC Sweet Suite Toy Fair

Sweet Suite Ahhh! So we are gearing up for this fair! I am super nervous and excited at the same time!

Our channels are so small (hopefully not forever), so it’s very intimidating going into this huge event!

We are planning on driving there ( a 10.. hour.. drive.. eek!). We still have a dentist appointment to go to and we also have to drop off our puppy (Skye) at my sisters, as well as getting some items for our trip and we still have to pack!

This trip is going to be such an investment, but it sure is a dream come true! Boy’s will love it I’m sure, plus we will get some swag sent to us later on!

Well soo that’s day 1.. not to much excitement going on.. yet!
