Gridopolis! Super Fun Kids Strategy Game!

This game is so much fun.. and the fun seems to never end.. nor does the creativity! Gridopolis is like a mix between chess and checkers.

Gridopolis

Gridopolis s an easy-to-learn strategy game that is played in three dimensions. Designed for 2- to 4-players (or more!) it can even be modified during gameplay.

You only need a few simple parts, making it quick and easy to learn.

Play the world’s first FULLY three-dimensional strategy game. But watch out – the board changes dynamically during the game!

The board you start with is NOT the board you end up with.

Play with any number of two or more people! Change the number of pieces OR the grid-set size to change the length of your game.

Nodes are pieces that change how a game-pad works. Use a hyper-pad to ‘beam’ somewhere else. Use a blocker-box to shrink the grid-set.

Use the simple system to build other grid-sets AND play other games. Then, whenever you’re ready, create your own original game from scratch.

Too much creativity? Just play one of the already-designed games and take it easy.

I love this game, it really is a lot of fun. You can create your own platform to play on and even make up a whole game of your own! Possibilities are kinda endless! Haha

You can purchase this game on Amazon for right around $40.00.

Word Mine, A free family game to play on Alexa by Sensible Objects!

Word mine is a fun puzzle solving word game by Sensible Objects. It’s part of their Voice Originals line of games. Smart games for smart speakers!

Sensible Object, an award winning London-based game studio, introduces Word Mine, their newest gaming development in the line of Voice Originals games, which utilize the power of smart voice technology to create an unparalleled play experience. In Word Mine, people of planet Earth have used and discarded all their words, leaving them buried in the ground. Play Word Mine as an explorer on a mission to piece together the forgotten words of the world. You must master the mine by thinking fast and solving the anagrams to bring words back into the world!

Alexa will guide you through Word Mine and help you navigate the game as she looks out for your safety and helps you read the letters, but it’s up to you to solve the word puzzle in time before the mine collapses in on you. Every level uncovers new letters, and it’s up to you to use your lexical prowess to get to the bottom of the mine and collect coins for the words you create. Also, you can trade these coins for helpful items from the shopkeeper, to use on further expeditions in the future. The deeper you mine the harder the anagrams get, allowing you to test and expand your vocabulary while having fun.

To play Word Mine, activate the free Skill from the Alexa app and then say “Alexa, let’s play Word Mine.” Then, enjoy the game as followed:

● As you enter the mine, you are presented with a set of 3 letters, and asked to make a word that uses all 3 letters. The clock is ticking though, you have 90 seconds to crack the anagram!

● Get the word correct and you can head further into the mine. The deeper you go the harder the anagrams get. Keep digging until you are unable to make a new word.

● Run out of time and you trigger a collapse and have to leave the mine, but you get to keep all the words you found that day.

● After leaving the mine, you will meet a shopkeeper who needs the words you mine to help people use words all over the world. The shopkeeper will offer you a payment of coins in exchange for the words you have taken from the mine to help you in future mining exhibitions.

● Return tomorrow for a new word puzzle every day.
Free to enable and play, Word Mine is available now on the Amazon Alexa store.

Thank you Sensible Games for introducing us to some fun free games! They offer more games as well, check out their website!

We had a lot of fun playing this game, you do have to wait the next day to play the next level, but it’s something to look forward to the next day!

Zieke is learning his letter and spelling, so this was great for him. He was so tickled when he recognized the letters. Even if you have younger kids, you can solve the word and then they can repeat the word to Alexa. Fun for the whole family!

This is definitely something to check out!

Yeti, Set, Go! Meatball kicking game for the whole family by Play Monster!

I love games and so do my boys! We are trying to start some sort of family night once a week. That being said, pizza and a movie is great and all.. but I like the idea of sitting down and having some wholesome family fun! The boys are starting to get to a point were we can all sit down and do that!

With THIS game it’s going to be even more easier! It’s super easy to set up, no batteries, and the kids will have to chase the meatballs as they go flying everywhere! LOL! So there will definitely be some energy burned! I’m so glad Play Monster sent us this to check out!

It’s such a cute game! After a long stretch of pushing down the Yeti’s hard and the meatballs flying everywhere.. he decided we should try it a bit slower for awhile! Ha!

It’s super simple to play. Each player gets 6 meatballs to start out with. Everyone say’s Yeti, Set, Go.. and then everyone starts pushing down on their Yeti, the Yeti will then start kicking! You can move the Yeti from side to side as well so you can aim when your kicking. First player to get one meatball in each of their “mountain pockets” wins OR first one to get a meatball at the very top of the mountain automatically wins! So keep on kicking and picking up those meatballs quickly!

You can purchase this game directly on Play Monsters Site. You can also find this at other retailers like Walmart and Amazon.

It’s selling for around $15-$22. Amazon has the best price right now for $15!
