I remember reading Fancy Nancy as a little girl, so seeing all of this again is pretty cool.
There is an all new series on Disney Junior about Fancy Nancy and to top it off Jakks Pacific has launched a whole new Fancy Nancy toy collection.
We were lucky enough to snag a doll at the TTPM Holiday Showcase! She is super cute! She even comes with a blind bag full of fancy! She is poseable and dressable!
There are 3 others you can collect that are just like her, she is the classique doll!
Isn’t she adorbs? I LOVE her personality!
You can find her at Walmart or on Amazon for right around $14. Great price for a birthday or Christmas gift.
Beep Beep! It’s The Magic School Bus! Mrs Frizzle and her class are back again!
The Young Scientist Club brings a whole new experience to science kits with these awesome sets! We were sent two to review, and they are just amazing and reasonably priced too.
These would be perfect for homeschooling or as an extra learning experience for any kid. My boys LOVE hands on learning, I think most kids do though, so this was perfect!
This Magnet set is really cool, there are so many experiments in this set, some that are really simple and more that are hands on. I love the book that is comes with, it includes the experiment how tos as well as writing space for taking notes for the outcome of each experiment. This set retails for around $20 on amazon.
The Microscope Lab is super cool! It comes with the microscope, slides to view with specimens attached and even clear slides to add your own specimens on, cover slips, magnifying glass, tube for collecting specimens, file cards with all the information you need, tweezers and a notebook for writing down all of your collected information.
This retails for right around $40 and can be purchased on Amazon.
There are also all kinds of other sets you can purchase as well: slime, space, human body and so much more. Something for everyone! Check them out here.
We try to have a family night once a week where we play a game or do a special activity. These are going to be perfect! I can’t wait for our next family night!
Check out our video review on our Thomas The Train channel:
I just love games, they bring families closer with no screen time involved. So when I was asked if I would be interested in reviewing this game, I couldn’t pass it up.. and to top it off.. this game is super simply, which is a must for kids games!
Love how cute and friendly the dinosaurs look! The box itself is super compelling!
You can play this game with 2, 3 or 4 players! Start by laying out all of the pieces on the board. The youngest player goes first. Pick a piece from the pile, if you get a dino piece, keep it and keep trying to get those pieces to build your whole dino (on your next turn)!
There are also other cards you might get, like another dino (the back ground will be in a different color). If you get these turn these over so no one can see! Another player is aloud to skip “digging for dinos” and instead can choose to try their luck at someone else’s turned over cards! First one to piece their entire dino together, wins!
There are so many learning aspects in this game like, learning colors, learning dinosaur names, learning how to solve and piece something together, as well as learning how to take turns!
This game is for ages 4+ and would make a great Christmas gift! You can purchase this awesome game here:
Well this set is anything but classic, but in a good way of course! This set sure steps it up!
Skullduggery, the mind behind this madness, has launched an RC racing set. Not only does the track and cars glow in the dark, but the track is flexible for endless play and set ups!
My 5 year old had this set up going so many different ways, it was awesome! My boys tend to get really frustrated if something is hard or challenging to put together, so this was really an easy set for them to figure out. The tracks also have connectors so they can connect to just about any other brand of track, which is super super cool!
Over 25ft of track and two RC cars with controllers for each. These things REALLY zoom, I was shocked!
Each controller takes 4 AA batteries and there is a charging cord on top of the controller so you can charge the rc cars. You can also control the speed on the controllers, either pull down hard to zoom super fast around the track, or tap lightly and just sit back and enjoy the slow paced type of racing! Ha!
This awesome set retails for $99.00 and can be found on their website. They also have other RC sets as well! You can check them out here.

I seen patterns for these a few years back and I am so excited to see someone making and selling these!
First of all, these are on sale right now, and the play food and pans are on sale as well. Oh My Wow.. the quality of everything is out of this world.
Super easy to assemble and the play food is made out of nice materials AND the best part.. the food is squishy! They have some weight to them, which I love, it seems to make it easier for the kids to hold onto.
Each of the accessories sets come with 12 pieces. They have a few different food sets, pots and pans and a costume. Pst.. the pans are food grade too! Wow!
See! The pretend foods are soft and squishy! I just love the overall feel of them!
These pots, pans and utensils are so cute. They are stainless steel, which is just awesome in itself, and they are the perfect size for little hands.
The counter top set is so so cute! You can put pretend food in the blender and in the toaster and you can set items on the shelf towards the top.
Love the veggies! Love the soft colors too, kind of gives it an organic feel.
This set is the same! Soft and squishy!
The stove it totally my favorite. I did, however, have a little trouble getting the flat plastic piece to go into one of the sleeves, I think the size might have been off, but I did eventually get it to fit, with a little Mom power 😉
The oven and microwave both open and close with magnetic tabs and you can place the pretend food into the clear pockets.
And this! Ahh.. so sweet! It was a bit big for my almost 3 year old, but perfect for my almost 5 year old!
Love the details of the food..
Definitely my favorite play food that I have seen. Love the squishy feel and with squishes being so popular, it take it right to the playing field!
Pot and pants are super cute as well. One of the pans are plastic, the others are stainless steal. The over mitts are so cute, I just love anything smaller than normal! Ha!
One of the sets comes with a cookie sheet too! I think there are donuts, cookies and .. maybe a cheesecake? I love cheesecake, so we will call it that!
The finished set up stove/oven/microwave! The material is a heavy type of canvas I believe, with the finishes being a felt and other materials. Super durable and easy to clean.
Here is another write up:
“If you have little ones who love helping in the kitchen, the Pop-Oh-Ver Kitchen DeluxeSet($29.95) is a must-get imagination playset,” begins one of two glowing review by The National Parenting Center for the cleverest line of indoor play this year. The National Parenting Center joins six other toy industry influencers who were overjoyed with Pop-Oh-Ver’s endless possibilities for imaginative play that’s put away… until next time. Rare is a review that instructs parents of a “must-get” toy!
The centerpieces of Pop-Oh-Ver’s appeal are the now-you-see-it/now-you-don’t Stove and Kitchen Counter Sets ($39.95). The National Parenting Center called them ingenious! This is from a nationwide parent advocacy organization that has seen and tested every possible toy on the market, for decades! Pop-Oh-Ver has already won eight additional industry awards for its great design this year.
“This 12-piece toy kitchen accessory set includes all the pots and pans your little cooks will need,” continues the rave review that won a Seal of Approval Winner Fall 2018 from The National Parenting Center, “to become fabulous pretend chefs. Most of the pieces are made of sturdy stainless steel so you can wash in the sink or stick them in the top rack of the dishwasher. The kick here is that you can use all the parts with real food. Yes, they are food grade!”
A second Seal of Approval Winner went to the Pop-Oh-Ver Stove & Kitchen Counter Set. The gushing review begins, “The Pop-Oh-Ver Stove & Kitchen Counter Sets are an ingenious idea for people who do not have space for a traditional kitchen set. The set consists of one thick canvas fabric piece that fits over a flat backed chair. It is basically a slipcover for an armless chair which allows a child to play in a kitchen setting for a time and then the whole thing can be taken off, folded up and put away. It inspires and encourages role play while keeping set up and mess to a minimum.”
Pop-Oh-Ver has also received these awards this year: Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Award, Tillywig Best Creative Fun Toy Award, Mom’s Choice Gold Award, Family Review Center Gold Award, PAL Award, Hot Diggity Award, Creative Child Product of the Year Award and Academics’ Choice Brain Toy Award.

Needless to say, Aaron (from the Dream Team) loved this set!
Diversity. It’s what makes up the world, am I right? It should always be a good thing, sometimes the world makes it a bad thing.. but the Mom’s behind these dolls are making sure it’s a great thing!
Could a little girl named Selma change the way people think about others who may look different from them? Her mother, Valerie Alva-Ruiz, created Selma’s Dolls ($39.99) in partnership with fellow mom Courtney Stillwagon to mirror the beauty within every religion, culture and physical and mental disability.
The debut collection of Selma’s Dolls features ragdolls Annie, Lola and Ameena. The dolls are made for children ages 2 and up as a way to introduce the beauty of differences through play. Via the storybook, parents can teach their children that differences are special and lead to friendship and understanding. And ultimately those differences lead to wonder and acceptance.
The mompreneurs behind Selma’s Dolls were corporate colleagues in Atlanta, GA. As they chatted about work and children, “we realized our little girls’ ragdolls didn’t reflect the world around them,” explained Stillwagon. Recognizing a gap in the marketplace, they decided to start their own company (while keeping their day jobs!) with the mission of teaching children to love, appreciate and embrace differences. They worked quickly, hiring plush industrial designers to create a prototype and working through several iterations to perfect color, texture, size and safety specifications.
The charming results are Annie who wears a blue and yellow butterfly dress pattern to represent awareness for people with Down syndrome. Lola wears a Mexican-inspired print that’s a nod to Alva-Ruiz’s heritage. And lovely Ameena wears the color green, as green has a number of traditional associations and meanings in Islam.

I love what these dolls stand for and the details they have.
They are super cuddly and soft, super easy to clean and just the right size for small hands.
Each doll comes with a book about Selma starting her first day at school. She is worried about being different but comes to see that everyone is different but that our differences are what makes us..US!
You can purchase these sweet dolls on Amazon via their website.

I’m hoping they come out with the Selma doll and some more story books!
We have had these for awhile and decided to get them all out for a fun video! We found these awhile back at our local Once Upon A Child.
I don’t think the metal box was supposed to come with it, but sometimes the store will pair things together. Surprisingly, everything was there for this shopkins Sweet Spot Food Fair set!
Here’s the back of the box. It’s an awesome way to display your shopkins! We have some and once we get organized (or shall I say IF ha) I plan to display them. The gumball machine is super cute and those balls are made of super thick plastic! I was surprised at that. I love the little lollipop stand and the candy bags, the cart is cute too and also added some storage space for a few Shopkins. We got this set for around $7 from what I can remember!
You can purchase this set online brand new for around $15. So, I thought for sure this would be more brand new, but still not a bad price for what we paid.
You can purchase one here (links are NOT affiliated):
Toy Wiz – $13.99 – Packaging is damaged on this one, but nice price! Plus, I don’t know anything about this site, so may want to research it abit before purchasing!
They all charge for shipping, so it does increase the price by alot!
Amazon – $15.39 – If you have Prime you can get free shipping on this one! – A total score! Reviews are good too!
This Thomas is too cute! He was $3.50! You lay him on the floor and push the driver down and then he zooms!.. Reminds me of those older baby toys, but all three boys found it entertaining!
I couldnt find to many online – I found several on Ebay for over $20. I did find one for $10!
He was in really good condition too! It says 2004 on the bottom, so he was newer than I thought, not that 2004 is new haha, that’s still 14 years old!
This will make a super nice addition to our Thomas collection, (or shall I say my collection)!
This Disney Car set! Ahh.. super cute! I love the small cars. This was around $5 I believe. It’s collapsible and you can also store a few cars. It was a bit hard for the boys to turn but still a super cute set.
It’s from 2016 so still super new to me!
It
It came with several cars, not sure how many it actually is supposed to come with.
I looked this up and can’t find it!! Do any of you know? If so PLEASE let me know!
We posted this video on our Thomas channel if you want to see how it all works:
I think we are going to start doing this more! For around $15 we found some fun toys!
It seems like our new toys don’t ever get played with much after the initial excitement is gone from it being new. So buying second hand at a much lower price doesn’t seem as bad, even if they aren’t played with more than once!
Ahhh! So we are gearing up for this fair! I am super nervous and excited at the same time!
Our channels are so small (hopefully not forever), so it’s very intimidating going into this huge event!
We are planning on driving there ( a 10.. hour.. drive.. eek!). We still have a dentist appointment to go to and we also have to drop off our puppy (Skye) at my sisters, as well as getting some items for our trip and we still have to pack!
This trip is going to be such an investment, but it sure is a dream come true! Boy’s will love it I’m sure, plus we will get some swag sent to us later on!
Well soo that’s day 1.. not to much excitement going on.. yet!
